RouteNote is a music distributor that I’ve recently started using to distribute my music. They make it pretty easy to distribute music to the likes of Spotify, iTunes and Apple Music. But first, the music needs to be submitted for review. This can take some time to it’s good to plan ahead.
I uploaded a release called ‘Morning’ to RouteNote on a Friday afternoon in April 2022. It had seven tracks in the release. It got reviewed and approved by RouteNote by the following Thursday. So just under a week. This was pretty spot on to the three working days that the estimate.
Previously, another release in 2021 took longer. I’m not sure if releases with more tracks take more time to review but the other had nine tracks. It’s good to see that they are getting closer to the target time that they say they aim for.
